Angus Scrimm

Angus Scrimm (born Lawrence Rory Guy; August 19, 1926 – January 9, 2016) was an American actor, author, and journalist, known for his portrayal of the Tall Man in the 1979 horror film Phantasm and its sequels.

Alongside acting, Angus Scrimm is also known as a author. His screen credits lean toward Horror and Science Fiction.

Angus Scrimm's most notable role to date came in Phantasm (1979), where he played The Tall Man. He also appeared in John Dies at the End (2013) as Father Shellnut. Most recently appeared in Wishmaster (1997) as Narrator (voice).
