Delloreese Patricia Early (July 6, 1931 – November 19, 2017), known professionally as Della Reese, was an American jazz and gospel singer, actress, and ordained minister whose career spanned seven decades.

Alongside acting, Della Reese is also known as a singer.

Della Reese's most notable role to date came in Dinosaur (2000), where she played Eema (voice). She also appeared in MacGyver (1985) as Mama Colton. Most recently appeared in Beauty Shop (2005) as Mrs. Towner.
