Eric Idle
Eric Idle (born March 29, 1943) is an English comedian, actor, author, singer, writer, and comedic composer who wrote and performed as a member of the popular British comedy group Monty Python.
Alongside acting, Eric Idle is also known as a writer, singer, comedian. His screen credits lean toward Comedy and Animation.
Eric Idle's most notable role to date came in The Simpsons (1989), where he played Declan Desmond (voice). He also appeared in Shrek the Third (2007) as Merlin (voice).
