Eric Jungmann

Eric Jungmann grew up studying acting and filmmaking in Texas, beginning his career with roles in local films like “Varsity Blues" and Robert Rodriguez’s, “The Faculty”. His ambitions soon led him to Los Angeles, where he’s continued evolving as an artist, working steadily in TV and Film, creating memorable characters in what’ve now become cult favorites like, “Not Another Teen Movie” and “Winning London”. He’s collaborated as an actor on a large number of shows for networks like HBO, FOX, ABC, CBS, NBC and WB - as well as multiple feature films premiering at festivals including Sundance, Tribeca, SXSW and Sitges. With twenty years of experience in the business, Eric has now begun developing his filmmaking career as a writer and director. He has just finished production on his latest short film, a sci-fi horror adventure called, “REMOTE”, produced by 20th FOX Digital and airing on Hulu as part of "Bite Size Halloween", Season 3.

Jungmann was born in Orlando, Florida, the son of restaurateurs Janet and Jim Jungmann. He attended both the North East School of the Arts and the International School of the Americas, both in San Antonio, Texas.

Eric Jungmann's screen work to date leans strongly toward Comedy and Drama, a consistent thread across his credits so far.

Eric Jungmann's most notable role to date came in Not Another Teen Movie (2001), where he played Ricky Lipman. He also appeared in The Faculty (1998) as Freshman #1. Most recently appeared in Varsity Blues (1999) as Elliot.
