Joe Vaz

Johannesburg born, Joe Vaz was an actor/writer best known for his character work in Good Omens (2019), Black Sails (2014) and Dredd (2012). Joe started out his career as a musical theatre performer before moving into film and television.

Joe also ran a micro-budget indie film company, Inkless Media, which produced three shorts, Play by Heart (2005), Blue Valentine (2005) and Beyond Words.

Alongside acting, Joe Vaz is also known as a writer.

Joe Vaz's most notable role to date came in Chronicle (2012), where he played Michael Ernesto. He also appeared in Dredd (2012) as Big Joe. Most recently appeared in The Dark Tower (2017) as Worker Taheen.
