Mitchell Butel

Mitchell Patrick Butel (born 10 February 1970) is an Australian actor, singer, writer and director. He is best known for his work in theatre, including musical and opera productions. He has been the Artistic Director of the State Theatre Company of South Australia since March 2019.

Alongside acting, Mitchell Butel is also known as a director, writer, singer.

Mitchell Butel's most notable role to date came in Dark City (1998), where he played Officer Husselbeck. He also appeared in 2:22 (2017) as Howard Pace. Most recently appeared in Gettin' Square (2003) as Con Katsakis.
