Natasha Wanganeen

Natasha Wanganeen (born 20 June 1984) is an Aboriginal Australian actress, screenwriter and producer. She is known for her debut starring role in 2002 feature film Rabbit-Proof Fence, aged 15. Started acting when Natasha's aunt said she should attend a local drama workshop for Indigenous youth at Port Adelaide.

Wanganeen is a third cousin of famous Australian footballer Gavin Wanganeen and playwright Trevor Jamieson.

Alongside acting, Natasha Wanganeen is also known as a producer, writer, screenwriter.

Natasha Wanganeen's most notable role to date came in Cargo (2017), where she played Josie. She also appeared in 2067 (2020) as Government Offical. Most recently appeared in Rabbit-Proof Fence (2002) as Nina, Dormitory Boss.
