Nicholas Hammond

Nicholas Hammond (born May 15, 1950) is an American-Australian actor and writer who is best known for his roles as Friedrich von Trapp in the film The Sound of Music and as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the 1970s television series The Amazing Spider-Man. He also appeared in the theatrical films as Spider-Man and its two sequels outside of North America.

Alongside acting, Nicholas Hammond is also known as a writer.

Nicholas Hammond's most notable role to date came in Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood (2019), where he played Sam Wanamaker. He also appeared in The Sound of Music (1965) as Friedrich von Trapp. Most recently appeared in Stealth (2005) as Executive Officer.
