Peter Mullan

Peter Mullan (born 2 November 1959) is a Scottish stage, film and television actor and director, best known for playing supporting roles in feature films such as "Braveheart" and "Trainspotting", and for starring as the titular character Joe Kavanagh in "My Name Is Joe". He won a Golden Lion at 59th Venice International Film Festival for his direction of "The Magdalene Sisters".

Alongside acting, Peter Mullan is also known as a director.

Peter Mullan's most notable role to date came in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010), where he played Corban Yaxley. He also appeared in Braveheart (1995) as Veteran. Most recently appeared in Trainspotting (1996) as Swanney.
