Peter Wyngarde

Peter Paul Wyngarde (born Cyril Goldbert; August 23, 1927 – January 15, 2018) was an Anglo-Singaporean actor best known for playing the character Jason King, a bestselling novelist turned sleuth, in two British television series in the late 1960s and early 1970s: Department S (1969–1970) and Jason King (1971–1972).

Alongside acting, Peter Wyngarde is also known as a novelist.

Peter Wyngarde's most notable role to date came in Flash Gordon (1980), where he played Klytus. He also appeared in Doctor Who (1963) as Timanov. Most recently appeared in The Innocents (1961) as Peter Quint.
