R.G. Armstrong

Robert Golden Armstrong was an American actor and playwright. A veteran character actor who appeared in dozens of Westerns over the course of his 40-year career, he may be best remembered for his work with director Sam Peckinpah.

Alongside acting, R.G. Armstrong is also known as a playwright.

R.G. Armstrong's most notable role to date came in Predator (1987), where he played Major General Homer Phillips. He also appeared in Children of the Corn (1984) as Diehl. Most recently appeared in My Name Is Nobody (1973) as Honest John.
