Richard Wilson OBE (born Ian Carmichael Wilson; 9 July 1936) is a Scottish actor, theatre director and broadcaster. He played Victor Meldrew in the BBC sitcom One Foot in the Grave. A later role was as Gaius, the court physician of Camelot, in the BBC drama Merlin.

Alongside acting, Richard Wilson is also known as a director.

Richard Wilson's most notable role to date came in Doctor Who (2005), where he played Dr Constantine. He also appeared in Gnomeo & Juliet (2011) as Mr. Capulet (voice). Most recently appeared in Merlin (2008) as Gaius.
