Van Johnson

Van Johnson (1916–2008) was an American film, television theatre and radio actor, singer, and dancer. He was a major star at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer during and after World War II.

Alongside acting, Van Johnson is also known as a dancer, singer.

Van Johnson's most notable role to date came in The Purple Rose of Cairo (1985), where he played Larry. He also appeared in Batman (1966) as The Minstrel. Most recently appeared in The Caine Mutiny (1954) as Lt. Stephen Maryk.
