Between them, Cree Cicchino and Madisyn Shipman carry the comedy without ever forcing it. 3 seasons (2015–2019) gave the story room most shows never get. The timing in Game Shakers is precise enough that even the throwaway lines land on a second watch. It knows exactly what it is, and does not try to be anything else.

If you need a comedy that actually makes you laugh, Game Shakers is a strong candidate. Dead Pixels is the obvious comparison, but Game Shakers earns its own place alongside it. It is a manageable watch, easy to fit into a single week. Cree Cicchino's comic timing carries it through its weaker moments. The kind of comedy you recommend to someone who claims they do not watch much.
