British television has a knack for doing more with less, and Guilt is a prime example. It's currently available in the US on PBS Masterpiece Amazon Channel and Thirteen, and in the UK on BBC iPlayer, so there's no reason to keep putting it off. A 7/10 rating means the audience agrees.

Guilt follows a path that stands out in a crowded field. Two brothers seem to get away with a crime - but soon discover they can trust no-one, including each other, in a pitch-black, contemporary thriller. Mark Bonnar and Emun Elliott lead a cast that brings real weight to the material. The series ran for 3 seasons (2019–2023), building a story that gave its audience time to invest properly.
