Korean television has a knack for doing more with less, and The Veil is a prime example. It's currently available in Australia on Kocowa, and in the US on Rakuten Viki and Kocowa, so there's no reason to keep putting it off. An 8/10 rating means the audience agrees.

The procedural format gives The Veil its backbone, but it's the characters you come back for. Han Ji-hyuk, an NIS agent gone MIA, returns after one year to join a new team as he searches for his lost past. Namkoong Min and Park Ha-seon lead a cast that brings real weight to the material. It aired in 2021.
