Where to Watch Digimon Tamers in New Zealand

Digimon Tamers is currently streaming in Australia on Crunchyroll Amazon Channel, and in the US on Hulu, and its 9/10 TMDB rating reflects what viewers who've already found it know. A tightly focused run that doesn't overstay its welcome.

From the era when television started taking itself seriously as an art form, Digimon Tamers follows a path that stands out in a crowded field. Takato, Ruki, and Lee are children who have, by fate, received real Digimon, unlike the imaginary ones in the card game they play. Each of the children, or Digimon Tamers, have their different views on how Digimon should be treated. But when other Digimon begin to appear around Japan, they must put aside their differences to fend off the digital intruders. Makoto Tsumura and Masako Nozawa lead a cast that brings real weight to the material. It aired in 2001–2002.

Satisfying on multiple levels — something to enjoy on screen and something to think about after.
