Where to Watch Gungrave in Canada

Japanese television has a knack for doing more with less, and Gungrave is a prime example. It's currently available in the US on Crunchyroll and Crunchyroll Amazon Channel, so there's no reason to keep putting it off. A 7/10 rating means the audience agrees.

The procedural format gives Gungrave its backbone, but it's the characters you come back for. For Brandon Heat, death doesn't matter. Driven by his need for revenge, he returns from beyond the grave to cripple Milleneon, the huge mafia organization which uses undead monsters as its enforcers. His ultimate goal is to destroy Harry MacDowel, the leader of Milleneon and, at one time, Brandon's best friend... Masahiko Tanaka and Motomu Kiyokawa lead a cast that brings real weight to the material. It aired in 2003–2004.
