K-ON! Does what great comedies rarely manage — it's actually funny, consistently, across the whole run. Yui Hirasawa has no clue which club to join, but she’s determined to do something this year. As luck would have it, she discovers a flyer for the Light Music Club and decides this is the club for her. But there's one problem: She first must learn guitar! Aki Toyosaki and Yoko Hikasa lead a cast that brings real weight to the material. The series ran for 2 seasons (2009–2010), building a story that gave its audience time to invest properly.
