Korean television has a knack for doing more with less, and Surely Tomorrow is a prime example. It's currently available in Australia on Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Prime Video with Ads, and in the US on Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Prime Video with Ads, so there's no reason to keep putting it off. An 8/10 rating means the audience agrees.
Sharp writing and a well-matched ensemble are what separate Surely Tomorrow from the crowd. In their twenties, Lee Kyeong-do and Seo Ji-woo part ways after two passionate relationships. A decade later, they meet again as a reporter who covers an adultery scandal and the wife of the man at the center of that scandal. Reuniting in their late thirties, their youth has passed, but their love remains vivid. Park Seo-jun and Won Ji-an lead a cast that brings real weight to the material. It aired in 2025β2026.
Ideal for when you want something light without wanting something stupid. Surely Tomorrow respects its audience β rarer than it should be.
