UniteUp! Has been quietly earning a loyal audience, and right now it's all available in Australia on Crunchyroll and Crunchyroll Amazon Channel, and in the US on Crunchyroll and Crunchyroll Amazon Channel. Kikunosuke Toya leads a cast that brings something genuine to every episode.

Part of the current wave of streaming-era originals, UniteUp! Follows a path that stands out in a crowded field. Akira Kiyose, a high schooler who loves to sing, gets recruited by a talent agency called sMiLea Production. Akira learns that the legendary idols “Anela”, who shocked the world with their sudden retirement, are behind the agency developing talent. Together with Banri Naoe and Chihiro Isuzugawa, also recruited by the agency, they form an idol group as they chase their dream towards super stardom alongside other idol groups “LEGIT” and “JAXX/JAXX”. Kikunosuke Toya and Ryotaro Yamaguchi lead a cast that brings real weight to the material. The series ran for 2 seasons (2023–2025), building a story that gave its audience time to invest properly.

Animation fans will appreciate the craft, but UniteUp! Works equally well for viewers who don't typically seek out animated series — fans of The Adventures of the Little Prince will feel at home. The medium is secondary to the quality.
