Channel 4 reprised the show in 1987 as Worzel Gummidge Down Under, which was set in New Zealand. Jon Pertwee and Charlotte Coleman lead a cast that brings real weight to the material. The series ran for 4 seasons (1979–1981), building a story that gave its audience time to invest properly.
