The runtime earns every minute, with nothing here that feels like padding. With 8,423 viewer ratings on TMDB, this is not a title flying under the radar. Simon Pegg leads a cast with real comic timing. There is no real reason to keep putting it off — it is right there on Amazon Prime Video.

However, when a series of grisly accidents rocks Sandford, Angel smells something rotten in the idyllic village. Between them, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost carry the comedy without ever forcing it. Hot Fuzz came out in 2007. Hot Fuzz earns its laughs from character rather than situation, which is why it does not wear thin the way pure farce tends to. The hit rate here is high enough that skipping ahead never feels like an option.
