He pulls the scheme off and sets up Faye with a new identity, only to have her skip out on him without paying. Val Kilmer and Joanne Whalley lead a cast that never lets the mystery feel thin. It was released in 1989. Kill Me Again is at its best in the quiet scenes between the plot beats, where the character work actually happens. There is real craft here, even in the moments that do not fully land.
