A nightmarish evening unfolds for neighbors David and Robert when they accidentally hit a woman on her bike and flee the scene. While David is increasingly plagued by feelings of guilt, Robert shows no remorse and becomes overbearing and possessive. Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Luke Kleintank lead a cast doing genuinely serious work here. The Good Neighbor came out in 2022. The performances in The Good Neighbor do a lot of work in the silences between the dialogue. It knows exactly what it is, and does not try to be anything else.
