Iceman Chambers is the heavyweight champion, who lost his title due to a rape conviction to ten years in Sweetwater. Wesley Snipes and Ving Rhames lead a cast that never lets the mystery feel thin. It hit screens in 2002. What makes Undisputed hold up is that the resolution matters less than how the characters get there. It delivers reliably on what it promises, which is more than most of its competition manages.

For anyone who wants their crime drama to earn its twists, Undisputed delivers. It does not lean on comparisons to make its case. It is a manageable watch, easy to fit into a single evening.
