ScreenPlay Season 7

1992 12 Episodes Drama ⭐ 6/10

ScreenPlay Season 7 has the kind of reputation that outlasts any streaming deal — a 6/10 audience rating from 2 viewers doesn't fade. Availability varies by region and changes regularly, so check the TV Butler options below to find the fastest way to watch in your country.

Originally commissioned by BBC Two, ScreenPlay Season 7 quickly became exactly the kind of show that viewers rearrange their evenings for. Screenplay was a drama anthology television series, broadcast on BBC between 1986 and 1993. Numerous episodes were produced including one named "Boswell and Johnson's Tour of the Western Islands" starring Robbie Coltrane as English writer Samuel Johnson who in the autumn of 1773, visits the Hebrides off the north-west coast of Scotland. That episode was directed by John Byrne and co-starred John Sessions and Celia Imrie. It aired in 1992.

Drama fans who appreciate slow-burn storytelling and well-observed characters will be completely at home. The kind of television that makes everything else feel thin by comparison.
