Still a big mystery for her and the others is what Xellos is aiming for in this battle. Megumi Hayashibara and Yasunori Matsumoto lead a cast that brings real weight to the material. It was aired in 2009. The rules of Slayers Season 5's world are consistent enough that the big swings never feel like cheating.
